이타적 공동체의 회복을 위한 교육목회 = Educational Ministry to Recover Altruistic Community

If churches are viewed within Korean society as seeking egoistic interests and operate without the faith of the community, it can be said that they have not been faithful to their required mission. The origin of the Church can be traced to the proclamation of Jesus Christ's life, death and revival; within the New Testament, it is named 'the body of Christ'. The essence of the Church is then Jesus Christ. As the body of Christ, the Church is the altruistic community called to follow Christ’s lead who came down 'for me' on earth about 2015 years ago, to make peace and unite the world within himself. In a concrete sense, the calling of churches that exist to follow Christ and to live in the same ways of Christ's life on earth is not only to declare Christ's love constantly, but also to serve the world outside of the church in order to confirm Christ's love. In saying so, a potential way to return to the altruistic community is firstly to recover Christ's redemptive story for me, for you and for us. Secondly, as the church is a sacred area, it should overcome negative desires and tendencies by recovering open fellowship and brotherly affection both inside and outside of Church. A concrete Christian educational curriculum is needed to recover an altruistic community; which is as follows: a Community redemptive story (Kerygma), Repentance for atonement (Leiturgia), Brotherly social service (Diakonia), Education (Didache) and Community fellowship (Koinonia) of small family Group. These five curriculums were principles of the early churches as the best ideal for a community. When the churches continually remake Christ's redemptive story: pray for washing away of people, service to society as brothers, educate and associate with people of God, churches can overcome exclusive, collective self-interest and can return to become a truly altruistic community.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

한국 사회에서 교회가 사적 이익을 취하는 배타적 공동체로 인식되고 신뢰를 얻지 못한다면 그것은 교회가 본질과 사명에 충실하지 못하기 때문이다. 예수 그리스도의 생애, 죽음, 부활에 대한 선포로부터 시작된 교회의 기원에 비추어 보았을 때 교회의 본질은 바로 예수 그리스도이다. 교회의 본질이 예수 그리스도의 이타적 인격이라면 사명은 그리스도의 구원을 지속적으로 선포하고 외부 세계를 대상으로 조건 없는 봉사를 실천하는 것이다. 따라서 이타적 공동체로 회복되기 위한 길은 먼저 나를 위한, 너를 위한, 우리를 위한 그리스도의 구원 이야기를 회복하는 것이다. 다음으로 정적 성역화를 극복하고 울타리를 넘어서는 개방적 친교, 형제애를 회복하는 것이다. 이타적 공동체를 회복하기 위한 교육과정을 초대교회를 움직였던 다섯 가지 원칙 케리그마(Kerygma), 레이투르기(Leiturgia), 디아코니아(Diakonia), 디다케(Didache), 코이노니아(Koinonia)에 근거하여 제시하면 다음과 같다. 공동체적 구원 이야기(Kerygma), 대속적 회개(Leiturgia), 형제적 봉사(Diakonia) 그리고 소그룹 가족 모임의 교육(Didache)과 공동체성(Koinonia)이다. 교회가 끊임없이 그리스도의 공동체적 구원이야기를 재형성하고, 소그룹의 공동체적 교육과 교제를 통하여 내적으로 그리스도의 사랑을 경험하고 외적으로 개인과 사회를 위한 대속적 회개와 형제적 봉사를 실천한다면 그리스도의 인격을 닮은 이타적 공동체로 회복되어 갈 수 있을 것이다.
