강원지역 석재관련산업 육성에 관한 경영전략 = A Study of the Strategic Management on the Mineral-related Industry

국문 초록 (Abstract)

강원지역의 경제활성화는 중요하고도 당면한 정책과제로 기존의 대표적 산업이었던 비금속광물제품제조업의 위상을 재정립하는 노력이 다른 무엇보다는 선행되어야 할 정책과제이다. 왜냐하면 비금속광물제품들은 현대산업사회에서도 인간생활의 바탕을 이루는 필수적 제품들이 대부분이며, 안정적인 수요기반을 갖고 있기 때문이다.
이에 본 연구는 설문조사를 바탕으로 전통적 비금속광물제품제조업들이 새로운 생산방법, 새로운 소재를 통한 신제품 개발이나 새로운 용도 창출, 그리고 틈새시장 개척과 같은 경영활동을 통해 경영성과를 개선하고 지역경제 활성화에 기여할 수 있도록 하기 위한 대안을 제시하였다. 즉 경영인의 전통적 경영철학 혁신, 고부가가치화를 통한 비금속광물제품제조업의 위상 재정립, 수입대체 제품 개발·육성, 지역산업 내 구조조정 추진, 산·학·연 협력 시스템과 관계경영 구축, 지역산업 지원 네트워크 구축과 운용의 활성화, 비금속광물제품제조업 인프라 구축과 정보화 추진, 경영소프트웨어서비스 지원, 그리고 기업지원제도의 유용성 제고 등을 제시하였다.
이와 같은 대안들의 대부분은 개별기업 차원의 과제들이 아니라 정책당국의 지원이나 주도적 여건 조성을 필요로 하는 것들이다. 따라서 강원지역 비금속광물제품제조업의 위치를 재정립할 수 있도록 하는 인프라가 구축될 경우 개별기업들의 기업가치극대화를 통한 지역경제 활성화에 기여하는 추진인자들이 될 것으로 기대된다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

There are some critical policy-making tasks for activating the economy of Gangwon province. For the tasks, it is most important to reconsider the position of nonmetallic mineral-related industry. Because, even though we are in the times of modern industry, nonmetallic mineral-related products are at the background of our life and also it has stable demand base. This research was carried out through the questionnaire about the managerial practices in mineral-related industry. We suggested some alternative guidelines to improve the managerial performance and to activate the regional economy such as the innovation of traditional management philosophy, enhancement of the valuing added of the nonmetallic mineral-related product, development of the substitute for import, construction of network for supporting the regional industry, and improvement of the usefulness of the company supporting system. These alternative guidelines require the political support because the strategic ways are not only private enterprise. Therefore, if there will be constructed for the infrastructure for nonmetallic mineral-related industry, we can expect the mineral-related industry to activate the regional economy by maximizing the value of the firms.
