      The purposes of this study were, to investigate the structure of sighted university students`` attitudes towards academic supports for students with visual impairments. The subjects consisted of 392 sighted university students in 4 universities in Daegu, Gyungbuk area and, to whom a 25 item questionnaire was distributed. The results were as follows.In the general structures of university students`` attitudes toward academic supports for students with visual impairments and in the consciousness of sighted college students toward peers with visual impairments, the students in the department of culture and society were higher than those in the nature department and the students`` consciousness structure who have experienced the programs related with handicaps, attended the lectures related with handicaps, and studied with the handicapped peers were higher than those who have not. In the sighted students`` consciousness structure for the peers with impairments`` inclusion, the supports of instruction and learning, the students who have ever experienced the programs related with handicaps, attended the lectures related with handicaps and studied with the handicapped peers were higher than those who have not. In the sighted students`` consciousness structure for the academic supports and equipment and facilities related with the system of school affairs and studies, the structures of students who have ever studied with the visual impairments were higher than those who have not.
