식영정 원림의 공간 특성과 <성산별곡> = The Spacial Character of Sik-Yong Jung(息影亭) Won-lim(園林) and Sungsan-byulgok(星山別曲)

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The focus of this paper is to examine the meaning and intention of Sik-Yong Jung(息影亭) Won-lim(園林). And tried to observe the intention and a subject of Sungsan-byulgok(星山別曲) on the base of its result.
Won-lim is a space art which follows in intention of the manager and it constructs individual world inside the restricted space. Won-lim literature to express its meaning and the real image concretely with language. There is not a possibility of knowing its individual quality with the include concept as natural. Because the space where it is presented in Won-lim literature must pay attention in its meaning of the individual space.
In the space of Won-lim, all viewable elements reflect meaning of total space. Because we must pay attention to the meaning of individual viewable element. The most important viewable element in Sik-Yong Jung Won-lim is a 'divine pond or dragon pond(靈湫 or 龍湫)'. The Orientals believed that dragon hide in the abyss of pond until he will be able to rise to the sky. When he ascends, he hands down the rain which is able to revive the all nature. The pond is space of seclusion and bidding he's time to the dragon. And it is corresponds to the meaning of Sik-Yong Jung(息影亭) Won-lim(園林).
Until now the researchers did not pay attention to the specific space from Won-lim literature. They kept on eye on the include concept as nature. Because they overlooked meaning of 'hides a trace from this world(息影)' which is a focus intention of Sik-Yong Jung Won-lim and the literary work which relates with it.
Sik-Yong Jung Won-lim is the space of hiding and waiting. The fact that he waits is when it will be able to come true the aspiration of oneself. All literatures of Sik-Yong Jung Won-lim are fixing a focus which praises the will of like this manager. The focus of the Sungsan-byulgok to praise the manager's attitude of life and high idea level. To praise the manager is universal quality of Won-lim literature.
In addition to the Won-lim literature which is created with the various style is reflecting the various side of Won-lim and its manager. An account of Sik-Yong Jung(息影亭記) to the meaning of the 'hides a trace from this world(息影)', the chines poem which praise the Sik-Yong Jung to the meaning of viewable element, and Sungsan-byulgok is fixing a focus to the manager's attitude of life, respectively. Because the Won-lim literature must be researched as part of Won-lim culture.
