다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Since the 20th century with the development of modern technologies various new concepts of spatial and architectural design have been emerging. Kinetic arts which had begun with the occurrence of Marcel Duchamp`s project continuously had influenced kinetic architectures by applying kinetic elements to the existing spaces and architecture which is not considered to be flexible or mobile. And it`s functionality and the purpose is being diversely reflected to the modern spaces and architectures. For researching the streams of developments of the kinetic spaces and architectures diverse examples developed since the late 20th century have been collected and analyzed based on the current of time. Also, some examples which are not yet completed, but are exposed or published as concept designs are investigated for forecasting the future development of kinetic space and architecture design. In conclusion, by adding kinetic elements on spaces or architectures which are not recognized to be flexible or mobile, the space and architecture will become smarter, more intelligent, and more interactive, and by utilizing the space and changing the skin of the architecture, this will become the more energy efficient structures.
