노인 일자리 사업이 노인의 인지기능, 우울감, 자아존중감에 미치는 효과 및 노인의 개인적인 특성이 삶.직무.사회참여만족도에 미치는 영향 = The effect of senior employment promotion project on the cognitive ability, depression and self-esteem and the relationship between personal characteristics and life.job.social activities satisfaction among the elderly

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to recognize how employment promotion project for the elderly influence on cognitive ability, self-esteem and depression of the elderly by comparing the elderly who are participated in the program with the elderly who are not. Also, this study analyses the degree of life, job and social activities satisfaction to investigate the influence of cognitive ability, depression and self-esteem. Sampling of this study are 259 the elderly who have been participated in the interview and over 60 years old by administrated the elderly welfare center and community welfare center in Kyunggi-do. Among the total elderly people, 109 people participated the employment promotion project. The result of this study can be summarized as follows. Firstly, the senior employment promotion project had positive influence cognitive ability, self-esteem and depression of participant. Secondly, job satisfaction, life satisfaction and social activities satisfaction for the elderly who have been participated in the program had a negative influence on depression. And also, job satisfaction for the elderly who have been participated in the program had a positive influence a positive influence on self-esteem. Cognitive ability of the elderly was association with social activities satisfaction. Based on the result discussed here, a variety of employment opportunity will be given which sustains their self-esteem and prevents sever depression and deficiency of cognitive ability of the elderly people because of a good relationship with other peoples. Especially, depression among elderly is an important public health concern as a indicator of life satisfaction.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 노인 일자리 사업이 노인의 인지능력, 자아존중감, 우울감에 미치는 효과 및 노인의 인지능력, 자아존중감, 우울감이 삶의 만족, 직무만족, 사회활동 참여 만족도에 미치는 영향 등에 대해서 알아보고자 했다. 본 연구에 사용된 참가자들은 경기도내 노인관련 단체들로부터 참여한 60세 이상 노인 259명 중에서 일자리 사업에 참여한 노인 109명과 일자리 사업에 참여하지 않은 노인 151명에 대해 8개월 간격으로 하여 각각 두 차례 검사를 실시하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 노인 일자리 사업은 노인의 인지능력, 자아존중감, 우울감을 8개월 뒤에도 그대로 유지 시키는데 도움이 되었다. 둘째, 우울은 삶의 만족도, 직무만족도, 사회참여만족도에 유의미하게 영향을 미쳤고, 노인의 자아존중감은 직무만족도에, 인지기능은 사회참여 만족도에 유의하게 영향을 미쳤다. 따라서 본 연구결과를 토대로 노인이 재취업과 같은 사회활동을 참여하도록 돕는 것은 노인 자신의 자아존중감을 유지하고, 좋은 대인관계를 형성하는데 긍정적인 영향을 미침으로서 우울증 치료와 동시에 인지장애를 예방하는데 도움을 줄 수 있을 것이다. 특히 우울은 노인의 삶의 만족도를 이해하는데 가장 중요한 지표이다.
