초등학생 반장의 반장역할 개념과 스트레스 및 스트레스 대처 = A study on the construct of student leader role, stress and the coping strategies of stress in elementary student leader

국문 초록 (Abstract)

초등학생들의 학교생활 경험은 교사에 의해 의식되건 그렇지 않건 간에, 학생들의 즉각적인 생활과 장기적인 자아개념에 중요한 영향을 초래한다. 그럼에도 불구하고, 초등학생의 학교생활 경험의 많은 영역들이 연구와 조력과정에서 간과되어왔다. 초등학생들의 반장 역할 경험 역시 마찬가지이다. 본 연구는 초등학생 반장들이 반장 역할을 무엇으로 지각하는지, 반장 역할을 수행하면서 겪는 스트레스가 무엇인지, 반장 역할 스트레스를 어떻게 대처하는지를 조사하고, 이에 근거하여 반장역할수행자에 대한 상담 및 생활지도에 관한 시사점을 얻고자 하였다. 이를 위해서 초등학생 반장 25명과 초등학교 때 반장역할을 했던 대학생 4명에게 초등학교에서의 반장경험에 관한 심층면접을 하였고, 심층면접자료에 대해서 내용분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과에 따르면, 초등학생 반장들은 반장역할을 부담임교사, 담임의 보조자, 모범 학생, 급우의 대표자, 급우의 맏형으로 지각하는 것으로 나타났다. 반장들이 겪는 스트레스로는 반장 역할 수행과정 스트레스, 반장 역할로 인한 파생적 스트레스, 역할 자아와 개인 자아의 갈등으로 나타났다. 또한, 반장들은 스트레스에 대해서 문제해결, 사회적 자원의 활용, 책임전가, 부인, 행동화와 같은 대처방식을 활용하였다. 연구결과는 초등학생 반장에 대해 반장역할교육과 스트레스 대처교육이 필요함을 시사하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Experience in the elementary school have a serious effect on immediate adaptation and self-concept in the students. But A large part of experience has been overlooked in the educational research and the educational counseling. So has been student leader's experience. This study were to investigate on the construct of student leader role, stress and the coping strategies of stress in elementary student leader and were to gain suggestions of elementary student leader education and counseling. Major research questions of this study were as follows; 1) What elementary student leaders thought their role were? 2) what kind of stress they did experience? 3) How did they cope their stress? 25 elementary students who take the role of student leader and 4 university students who take the role of student leader and 4 university students who had token the role of student leader were interviewed. The major results in this study were as follows; 1) Elementary student leaders thought their role were a class vice-teacher, assistant of class teacher, model of an ideal student, representative of student, big brother in the peer. 2) They reported that they went through many kinds of stress. 3) They reported that They didn't know how to cope with stress. The study results suggest that student leader education need to be provided.
