노무현 정권 2년의 대일 외교정책의 평가와 전망

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

There is a difference between the President's Roh, Moo Hyun's policy toward Japan of his first two years and his policy after March 2005. The activities of Japanese radical rights (Uyoku) concerning the history text book for the Japanese middle school and Tokdo mainly caused President Roh to change his policy toward Japan. But there were also domestic reasons of Korean politics for the change.
If the diplomatic goal of Korea toward Japan were to resolve issues related the colonial past, it would be hard to achieve its goal. Because the historical perspective itself has become a domestic agenda of Japanese politics, which divides the conservative political group and the liberal political group. If the Korean diplomatic goal toward Japan were to maintain the friendly relationship between the two countries, they should manage the history related issues not to make the hot diplomatic agenda between them.
