MBTI 선호지표에 따른 만다라그림의 표현양식 = MBTI Preference Types and the Expressive Styles of Mandala drawings

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study was conceived to investigate the connections between the MBTI personality types and the mandala expressive styles. For that purpose, the investigator held a self-understanding workshop for common women living in Gwangju Metropolitan City and Busan Metropolitan City and had 229 participants in the workshop. Employed in the study were the MBTI Form G and mandala. Data analysis was conducted with frequency analysis, cross-tabulation, and logistic regression analysis. The research findings were as follows: first, the attitude indicator there was a statistically significant difference between the description or the sun, the water, and the whirlwind from the picture content. Function of picture format, motion, color, and picture content and character, in a whirlwind significant difference was recognized. Judgment function of the number of colors, illustration atmosphere, there was a difference from the Heart and Smile lifestyle in Figure atmosphere, there was no significant difference. The living styles differed in the painting atmosphere. Second, the classification accuracy of personality types through the logistic regression model was higher in the perceptive functions than other styles including living style, attitude index, and judgment functions in the order. Those findings suggest that a mathematical model can be set up with mandala as an independent variable and the MBTI preference types as a dependent variable. The study presented a mathematical model to select the MBTI preference types only with the mandala variable through the Wald test. The study results are significant in that they confirm connections between mandala and the expressive styles of personality types

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 MBTI 선호지표와 만다라 표현양식이 서로 어떤 관계가 있는지 알아보기 위해 진행되었다. 이를 위해 광주광역시와 부산광역시에 거주하는 일반여성을 대상으로 자기이해 워크숍을 실시하여 229명이 참여 하였고, 연구도구는 MBTI Form G형과 만다라를 사용하였다. 자료분석은 빈도분석과 교차분석, 로지스틱 회기분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구에서 나타난 결과는 첫째, 태도지표는 그림내용설명이나 태양, 물, 회오리에서 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 있었다. 인식기능은 그림형식, 움직임, 색의 수, 그림내용설명과 문자, 회오리에서 유의미한 차이가 있었다. 판단기능은 색의 수, 그림분위기, 하트와 스마일에서 차이가 있었으며 생활양식은 그림분위기에서 유의미한 차이가 있었다. 둘째, 로지스틱 회귀모형을 통한 성격유형 판별 분류정확률은 인식기능이 다른 유형에 비해 높았으며, 생활양식, 태도지표, 판단기능 순으로 나타났다. 이결과는 만다라를 독립변수로 MBTI 선호지표를 종속변수로 수리적 모형을 세울 수 있음을 의미하고, 왈드검증을 통해 만다라 변인으로 MBTI 선호지표를 분류하는 수리모형을 제시할 수 있었다. 이와 같은 결과를 볼 때, 만다라와 성격유형 표현양식에 대한 관계를 확인할 수 있었다는 점에서 의의가 있다
