『석가여래행적송』과 『불조통기』의 5시설 -『천태사교의』 계승을 중심으로 = Study on the Comparative Analysis of the Tian -Tai School`s Succession Regarding the Five Periods and Five Flavors of the Outline of the Tian - Tai Fourfold Teachings: FTTC(『불조통기(佛祖統紀)』), SHS(『석가여래행적송(釋迦如來行蹟頌)』)

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The point of this research paper is to examine the traditional succession of FTTC(『佛祖統紀』) and SHS(『釋迦如來行蹟頌』) in relation with Outline of The Tian-Tai Fourfold Teachings(『天台四敎儀』, Kor., Ch`0n t`ae sa kyo ui, CSI). On the other hand, the point to be presented through this paper is to prove the absolute influence of CSI on China and the route of its circulation. It is the author`s opinion that the tradition properly combining the life of Buddha and his teachings is already included as the basic element of CSI. A few analyses were performed based on the above foundations. The results of analyzing by phrases showed that the tradition was succeeded by FTTC and SHS. Furthermore, they succeed the Five Periods and Eight Teachings and Five Flavors of CSI. The sequence may differ somewhat partially but these adopted CSI in full. FTTC (Book 3, 34) revolves around CSI and explains them as phrases(FTTC`s commentary on the CSI), but does not explicate these.(The direct quotative marker 『天台四敎儀』: [Sporadic cases] Book 1, 2, 3, 10, 16, 17, 21, 25, 31) As a result, A General Chronicle on the Buddha and Patriarchs(FTTC, 『佛祖統紀』), the traditional wordbook of the tian-tai school was affected by CSI. SHS states that the basic teachings were quoted from CSI. In addition, these are explained in detail from n.27(長行釋 27) and s.68(偈頌 68) of SHS by quoting CSI. n.27 is an explanation of s.68 in the form of prose. The result of analysis showed that FTTC and SHS are adopting CSI through this study.
