개인 창의성과 팀 창의성 관계의 역동성 = The Dynamic Nature of Relationships between Individual and Team Creativity

국문 초록 (Abstract)

21세기까지 팀 구성원 개인과 팀 전체의 창의성 간의 관계에 대한 탐구는 거의 이루어지지 못했다. 본 연구에서는 최근 창의와 혁신을 위해 기업과 학교에서 활 용되고 있는 팀 창의성을 개인 창의성과의 관계에 있는 역동성의 측면에서 살펴 보았다. 창의성은 개인이나 집단이 어떤 사회적 상황 속에서 새롭고 유용한 산출 물을 생성하는 적성, 과정, 그리고 환경의 상호작용을 일컫는다(Plucker, Beghetto, Dow, 2004). 본 연구에서는 이론과 선행연구를 기반으로 개인과 팀 창 의성 간의 관계에 있는 다양한 역동성의 본질적 성질을 우선 정적 상관관계의 측 면에서 다루고, 이어 상쇄적 관계의 쟁점으로 조명해 보았다. 정적 상관관계를 기 반으로 보면, 개인 창의성이 팀 창의성에 정적 영향을 미치거나 팀 창의성이 개 인 창의성에 영향을 미칠 수 있는 개연성이 존재한다. 또한 상쇄적 관계를 기반 으로 보면 개인 창의성이 팀 창의성에 부적 영향 또는 아무런 영향을 미치지 못 하거나 팀 창의성이 개인 창의성에 부적 영향 또는 아무런 영향을 미치는 못하는 관계성을 고려해볼 수 있다. 또한 이를 기반으로 개인 창의성과 팀 창의성의 관 계 탐구의 의의를 규명하고 실증적인 후속 연구들에 대한 시사점을 논의하였으 며, 실제 현장에서의 연계.활용방안을 제시하였다.

The purpose of this study was to consider the debate of relationships of individual and team creativity on the basis of literature review. Creativity is the interaction among aptitude, process, and environment by which an individual or group produces a perceptible product that is both novel and useful as defined within a social context(Plucker, Beghetto, Dow, 2004). This paper divided into three parts. The first section deals with the existing theory of individual and team creativity to clarify it. The second section provides debate about relationships between individual and team creativity. Considering a few research attempts, the third section examines the possible theoretical and practical implication of the debate of individual and team creativity.
