보석 커팅 조형성을 활용한 도제 합 디자인 연구 : 선의 조형성을 중심으로

With times, ceramic box and gemstone cutting have been designed and developed in various forms according to their use. In the past, ceramic box was focused on limited form and practical use, but in modern times, based on practicality, a combination of forms using various subjects and materials free of restrictions on form is produced. In addition, gemstone cutting technology has developed to emphasize the characteristics of original stones, and various designs have emerged.
The study used the theme of gemstone cutting to study ceramic box. This approached from a new perspective that the shape of the line can be expressed through the harmony of the lines that touch each side during the gemstone cutting process. It is expressed in a ceramic box by applying the shapely beauty of gemstone cutting to ceramics that can be easily touched in everyday life.
Consequently, this researcher conducted a theoretical approach through literature on gemstone cutting and the formability of the line. Previous data were investigated through the classification of the concept, era, use, and form of consensus, and the modern ceramic box using images of various topics was investigated. Based on the studied data, a modern ceramic box work was developed using the formative characteristics of the gemstone cutting line.
By conducting a study on the design of ceramic box using the various shaping characteristics of gemstone cutting, it was an opportunity to conduct new and diverse research along with the value of jewelry.
We look forward to producing a study of ceramic box that presents various and new directions by approaching ceramic box using a unique theme and material called gemstone cutting.
