      다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

      As the industry develops, it has been required to improve the performance and lifetime of equipment,
      machine parts, and tools used in various environments. Thermal spray coating has been used to improve
      wear and corrosion problems. In this study, coating layer was formed by using metallic wire wrapped
      with FeB (ferro-boron) powder on strip. Taguchi technique is a practical methodology for quality design
      from the design stage, which is a direct way to consider many factors at once in an economical way.
      The parameters in this study were 1) coating distance between the sprayer and base material, 2)
      spraying voltage, and 3) applying arc jet. As results, good properties are seen if the voltage is not too
      high when coated with an arc jet from a short distance.
