A Model of Skills and Strategies for Proficient Listening

국문 초록 (Abstract)

제 7차 교육과정에서 의사소통 중심 교수법이 대두된 이래로 실제 상황에 적절하게 사용할 수 있는 실질적인 의사소통 능력이 중요시됨에 따라 듣기 능력의 중요성이 널리 인식되고 있으며, 듣기 능력을 개발하기 위한 전략을 명시적으로 가르쳐야 한다는 주장이 설득력을 얻고 있다. 외국어 학습에 있어서 전략교육의 가장 중요한 특징은 의사소통 능력 향상과 학습자 자율성의 증대로서 외국어 학습자가 자신에게 필요한 학습전략을 적절하게 사용함으로써 효과적인 학습을 할 수 있다는 점이다. 적절한 학습전략을 학습자가 사용하기 위해서는 먼저 학습자 자신이 스스로 사용해온 학습전략을 진단, 분석, 평가 할 뿐 아니라 성공적인 학습전략과 비교하여 보고 더 나아가 효율적인 듣기 학습전략을 가르치는 일이 중요하다. 따라서 이 연구의 목적은 연구자들이 사용해 온 듣기 전략을 논의하고 듣기를 향상 시킬 수 있는 모형을 논의 하고자 한다.
