유아기 어머니의 양육스트레스, 모·자의 심리적응 및 모-자녀관계 관련 연구 = Studies on the understanding about mental health, mother-child relationship of mothers with high-risk parenting stress and their preschoolers

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 인구학적 특성, 어머니와 유아의 심리적응 및 어머니와 자녀의 다양한 관계측면이 어머니의 양육스트레스 고위험군에 어떠한 영향을 미치는 지를 구체적으로 살펴보고자 하였다. 연구대상은 경기 및 충청지역 소재 어린이집과 유치원의 만 2세부터 5세까지 유아 287명(남아 147명, 여아 140명)이었다. 연구도구는 어머니의 양육스트레스, 어머니와 유아의 심리적응, 부모자녀관계 척도를 사용하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 양육스트레스 고위험군과 정상군의 차이를 살펴본 결과 유아의 성별에는 차이가 나타나지 않았으나, 유아의 연령이 높아질수록 양육스트레스 고위험군 어머니가 더 많은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 양육스트레스 고위험군 어머니는 정상군 어머니에 비해 더 우울하고 불안하며, 유아는 문제행동을 더 많이 보이고, 모-자녀관계에서도 애착을 더 잘 맺지 못하고, 훈육적이지도 못하면서, 심리적 연류성과 부모효능감은 더 낮고, 자녀와의 관계에서 좌절감을 더 많이 경험하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로, 어머니의 취업유무와 유아의 연령, 어머니의 불안, 유아의 외현화 문제행동, 모-자녀간 애착, 훈육, 관계적 좌절감이 양육스트레스 고위험군에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study examines mental health, parent-child relationship of mothers with high-risk parenting stress and their preschoolers. The targets are 296 preschoolers, ages 3-6 and their mothers. Instruments used in this study were Korean Parenting Stress Index-Short Form, SCL-90R, Korean version of Child Behavior Checklist 1.5-5, Parenting Relationship Questionnaire. Results are follows. First, mothers with older children showed more parenting stress. Second, mothers with high-risk parenting stress were more depressive, more anxious and had more dysfunctional parent-child relationship with their children. Finally, mother's job, children's ages, children's externalizing behavior problem, attachment, disciplinary parenting, and relational frustration were the significant predictors of mother's high-risk parenting stress.
