This study reinterprets the abandoned railway sites that can be seen as urban boundaries and suggests a new architectural methodology based on urban regeneration. It was focused on the idle site of the Incheon old abandoned railway at the boundary of expansion and preservation of the city. The architectural methodology takes an approach from the overall Incheon city scale to the planning site. The possibility and potential of the linear space in the abandoned railway in the city continues up to architectural space planning. This architectural planning seeks to serve as an ‘Urban Corridor’ that extends the entire city of Incheon. Urban regeneration strategy of abandoned Su-in railway is centered on local residents who are users and we want to worry about future directions and goals of urban problems and cities.
