      Students, today in college, are facing a variety of problems and yet that should be answered and solved with no delay.
      The issue of the enlistment is one of these, in that they have to decide when to go into the military service either during or after the school years.
      The pressent authors, as a conuselor at the Student Guidance Clinic, have realized the urgent need for the evaluation of veteran student's problems, particularly in relating to their adjustment of college life.
      The questinnaire that contained 27 items was distirbuted to the veteran student at Kyung Puk University, and 200 responses were obtained.
      The summary of this findings is as follows;
      1) Some important ressons for their enlistment during college years in its descending order are: for the better emoloyment upon grduation, adjustment problem to college life, older than their classmate due to repeated failures in college entrance examination, and lastly, economic reason.
      2) They had felt "much relieved" right after enlistment with no regret, and contrary to general belief, their adjustment to the military life had been satisfactory.
      3) Academic performance has been greatly improved and they became much mature in many respects.
      4) One of the biggest problem encountered is their difficulty in relating to the classmates, thus they became indifferent to any extracurricular activities in the campus.
      5) They have agreed upon that the military life has given them a very meaningful experience in their life.
      6) It is reccommanded that military service is beetter to be done during the college years, and preferrably during the first semester of the sophomore year.
      The above findings are discussed along with the ample materials obtained from the individual theraphy and group discussion, and the recommendation for the school authorities is proposed to set up the special project for helping out the veteran student.
