현행 고등학교 미술교과에서의 디자인 교육에 관한 연구 : -미술교과서를 중심으로- = A Study On the Current Design Education In High School Art Subject -Concentrating On Art Textbook-

국문 초록 (Abstract)

한글초록: 현대 사회에서 디자인은 예술 창조의 역할 뿐 아니라 사회발전 모델을 제시하며 생활에 지대한 영향력을 미치고 있다. 성공적인 디자인의 창조(創造)는 기업 경영의 핵심이자 국가 경제 발전에 강력한 힘이 되어지고 있다. 이에 따라 창조자로서 디자이너의 수요가 증가되고, 중요성이 높게 인식 되어지고 있으며, 디자인에 대한 일반적 관심(觀心)도 고조(高調)되어가고 있다. 창의적이고, 개성 있는 디자이너 양산(量産)을 위해 전문적인 디자인 교육도 물론 중요하지만, 디자이너들의 제품을 수렴하는 소비자인 국민의 수준이 이에 미치지 못한다면 아무리 뛰어난 디자이너들이 양산(量産)된다 하더라도 소용없는 일이 되어버리고 만다. 이렇듯 국가 디자인 수준 향상을 위해서는 일반 교육과정(一般 敎育課程)에서의 디자인 교육이 매우 중요하다. 특히 제7차 교육과정 적용으로 인해 국민 공통 기본 교과의 마지막 과정으로 디자인 교육을 마무리 지어야하는 중요한 단계에 있는 고등학교 1학년 미술교과에서의 디자인 교육은 미술전공 예정학생과 비 전공학생 혹은 아직 진로를 결정하지 못한 학생들이 공존하므로 그 중요성은 더욱 강조된다. 본 연구에서는 올바른 디자인 소비 문제에 적절히 대응 할 수 있는 소양을 기르도록 하기위하여 우리나라 일반계(一般係) 고등학교(高等學校) 미술교과(美術敎科)를 통해 행해지고 있는 디자인 교육의 실태를 분석하여 디자인 교육의 개선방안을 모색(摸索)하고자 하는데 그 초점(焦點)을 두었다. 본 논문의 제2장에서는 디자인 교육의 중요성을 강조하기 위해 디자인의 이론적 고찰을 하였고, 제3장에서는 현행 7차 교육과정을 토대로 미술 교과서를 전체적으로 분석하여 미술교과서 내(內) 디자인 영역의 비중을 살펴보았다. 제4장에서는 고등학교 미술 교과서 디자인 영역 분석을 통해 디자인의 다양한 영역이 고르게 제시 되어지고 있는지 알아보고, 교육 현장에서 디자인 수업이 어떻게 행하여지고 있는지 고등학교 1학년 학생을 대상으로 설문조사를 통해 살펴보았다. 이를 토대로 제5장에서는 미술 교과서에 있어 디자인 영역과 고등학교 현장에서 디자인 교육의 문제점을 찾고 다른 나라와의 디자인 교육을 비교하여 개선책을 마련하고, 앞으로 고등학교 교육에 있어서 디자인 교육이 나아갈 방향을 제시하였다. 이를 정리하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 우선적으로 미술 수업 시수의 충분한 확보가 이루어져야 한다. 둘째, 현행 미술 교과서의 디자인 영역은 매우 적은 분량을 차지하고 있으므로 미술 교과서 내의 디자인 분량을 확충(擴充)해야 한다. 셋째, 교과서에 디자인의 다양한 분야를 고르게 제시하여 체계성을 갖추고, 기초를 정립하여 실생활과 연계된 다양한 프로그램의 개발을 통해 디자인에 대한 인식을 용이(容易)하게 하여야 한다. 넷째, 교과서에 있어 디자인에 대한 정확한 개념과 이론 정립을 바탕으로 제작과정을 참고도판을 통해 상세히 제시하여야 한다. 다섯째, 디자인 각 분야의 직업으로서의 전망과 미래의 비전 등을 제시하여 학생들이 신중한 진로 선택을 할 수 있도록 이끌어야 한다. 여섯째, 미술교과서 집필 시 반드시 디자인 전공자가 참여하여야 한다. 일곱째, 디자인 수업에 필요한 보조 자료와 도구, 독립된 실기실 마련 등 환경 개선이 필요하다. 이렇게 고등학교 미술교과에서 디자인 교육의 중요성을 인식하고, 문제점 개선을 통해 디자인 교육 활성화에 도움이 되고자 한다

영문초록: Design has a great influence upon human life and also play an important role as leaders in art and social development. Successful creation of design is the basis for the administration of all enterprises and for a nation's economic development. Accordingly, as a creator the designers are increasingly consumed, the recognition of importance of design is highly appreciated and also the interest of design became highly encouraged. For developing an initiative spirit and individual character, professional education of design is important but the consumers' level should also follow to meet the designer's product, otherwise it's useless to educate excellent designers. As a result, to increase the standard of design level it is very important for educating design in general curriculum. Especially, adaptation of the 7th Education curriculum, the study of design became very important that is the last course of studying design for high school students which is educated for those who is willing to major design or for those who will not and for those who hasn't decided yet. In this study, to face an appropriate design consuming problems I have focused and analyzed the design studied in Korean high school's art curriculum for improvement of design education. In this thesis on chapter 2, the theory of design was considered to show the importance of design education. And on chapter 3, the study was done through finding out the relative importance of the design studies made in high school art textbook. On chapter 4, I analyzed the diverse field of designs of high school art textbooks and made a questionnaire for high school students questioning how the design class was conducted in an actual education spot. Based on the studies above, on chapter 5, I proposed the direction of design education through finding out the problems of design education in high school based on art text books and comparisons made with other country's design education. The result is shown as follows. First, there should be sufficient students for the art classes. Second, design field of studies should be increased for the art textbooks since current art textbooks have very little portion of design field. Third, the text books should be well organized by presenting diverse fields of design which will make understand the concepts of design through many different programs in an actual life. Fourth, textbook should show the manufacturing of textbooks through showing references based on correct concept and theory of design Fifth, by showing the vision and future prospect of design
