미술과 수업의 물리적 환경에 대한 실태 조사 연구 = A Survey on the Physical Environment of Art Classroom in Schools

국문 초록 (Abstract)

미술과 교육과정이 개정될 때마다 미술교육의 목표와 성격, 내용체계 등이 새롭게 바뀌고 그에 맞게 초등·중등 미술교과서가 집필되었다. 초등·중등 미술교과서에는 동서고금의 미술들이 위계성, 적정성을 토대로 학년에 맞게 적절한 학습단원활동들로 소개되고 다뤄지고 있다. 표현활동으로는 평면, 입체 등으로 나눠지지만 세부적으로 보면 회화, 조소, 판화, 디자인, 공예, 서예 등으로 분류된다. 초등·중등교사들이 이런 학습단원의 활동들을 학생들에게 적절하게 교수-학습하기 위해서는 그에 준한 물리적 환경이 시설·설비되어야 하고 필요한 교구들이 갖춰져야 한다. 이 연구는 초등, 중등 교육현장에서 미술수업의 물리적 환경이 어느 정도 갖추어져 있는가를 알아보기 위한 것으로, 설문지 조사를 토대로 학교규모별, 학교급별, 지역별의 교육환경 및 교구비치, 초등·중등 교사들이 보는 미술수업의 문제점과 제언 등 미술수업의 물리적 환경에 대한 실태를 조사한 것이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

When the art curricular are need a change by government, the whole art curricular's purposes, characters and contents are also changed newly. The elementary and secondary art textbooks are also rewritten totally based on the new art curricular. Elementary and secondary art textbooks are usually covered with east and west art works and developed with the lesson units carefully to be applied to the school graders in a proper way.
School art activities are usually composed of two-dimensional and three dimensional art works including painting, sculpture, print, design, craft and calligraphy. In order to affectively teach a lesson unit of these areas for the elementary and secondary students, the art classroom's physical environments must be provided with all the necessary art equipments, facilities and teaching tools.
This study is focused mainly on how elementary and secondary art classrooms' physical environments have provided the necessary art equipments, facilities and teaching tools in a nation-wide. We used a questionnaire for the survey. The questions include physical classroom's environments; elementary and secondary school teachers hold art classroom equipments, the problem issues and suggestions. 517 elementary and secondary school teachers participated in this survey from all over the country.
