청소년의 생활스트레스가 자살행동에 미치는 영향 및 그에 대한 문제해결능력의 완충효과 = The Effect of Life Stress on Adolescent Suicidal Behaviors and the Buffering Effect of Problem-Solving Ability

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 청소년의 생활스트레스가 자살행동에 미치는 영향과 그에 대한 문제해결능력의 완충효과를 알아보기 위하여 수행되었다. 2004년 4월 중에 고등학교에 재학 중인 남녀 학생들을 대상으로 자료를 수집하였다. 결과 분석에는 521명의 자료가 사용되었으며 SPSS 12.0을 이용하여 기술통계분석, 선형회귀분석 및 로지스틱 회귀분석 등을 실시하였다. 연구결과, 생활스트레스는 자살생각과 자살계획을 증가시키는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 문제해결능력은 생활스트레스에 의한 자살생각을 감소시키지만 자살계획을 감소시키지는 못하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과는 청소년의 자살행동에 대한 상담 및 치료 프로그램 개발의 근거를 제공해주고 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study investigates the effect of life stress on suicidal behavior among korean adolescents and the buffering effect of problem-solving ability. Subjects were male and female students who were attending high school in April 2004. Data from 521 adolescents was analyzed through descriptive statistics, linear regression and logistic regression, using the SPSS 12.0. As a result, several findings were made. Life stress increases suicidal ideation and suicidal plans. Also, problem-solving ability decrease the suicidal ideation but does not decrease the suicidal plans that was caused by life stress. This study offers a basis for the development of counseling and treatment programs for adolescents.
