    In this study, it has been indicated reasonable investment decision makings for an Sewer Pipe Structures design and the process to analyze VE/LCC(Value Engineering/Life Cycle cost) analysis for selecting patterns. Through the process indicated, it makes the squandering of resources and environmental disruption minimize in public. In the ultimate, this study is accomplished to indicate objective analysis patterns for the value which is a main valuation pattern for the most reasonable investment decision makings. The VE/LCC process is applied to Sewer Pipe selecting patterns in real as well.
    To sum up the result of this study, it shows to indicate separately; technical element (hydraulic stability, 수밀성, durability, structure stability) and social element (greenness, maintenance and management, construction, function convenience) on the standard item of an Sewer Pipe Structures efficiency evaluation. consideration item could be apply and estimate more systematically through accomplishments; the result of the questionnaire to experts apply to AHP in the items which are function evaluations and estimating weight for Sewer Pipe Structures selecting patterns.
    The most suitable result has been selected according to the initial cost of construction from only experience decision of experts for selecting a most suitable alternative in established Sewer Pipe Structures but, in this study, alternatives could be selected from LCC analysis including the initial cost of construction as well as maintenance and management expenses. The proposed methodology incorporates a VE/LCC model and a performance evaluation technique to properly handle the uncertainties associated with the historical data and to analyze the value of alternatives more rationally.
