도시고속도로의 진출 · 입 연결로 접속구간 내 평균속도의 추정에 관한 연구 = Predicting Average Speed within the Enterance and Exit Ramp Junction Areas of Urban Freeway

국문 초록 (Abstract)

일반적으로 평균속도란 어느 도로구간을 이동하는 차량의 평균통행시간에 기초한 통행속도를 의미하고, 도로의 서비스수준평가를 위해 도로용량편람에서 제시하고 있는 평균통행속도가 효과척도로 사용되고 있다. 국내 대부분의 도시고속도로는 제한속도 80㎞/h이하의 고속화도로로서 출퇴근시간대에 관계없이 체증문제를 안고 있다. 특히, 도시고속도로의 연결로 접속구간역내에서의 교통정체는 통행량 증가와 주변 간선도로와의 연계성이 부족하여 더욱 악화되고 있다. 따라서 본 연구의 목적은 도시고속도로의 연결로 접속구간역내에서의 교통특성을 파악하고, 파악된 교통특성을 중심으로 연결로 접속구간 내 평균속도를 추정하며, 추정된 평균속도의 타당성을 입증하는데 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Average speed denotes a travel speed based on the average travel time of vehicles to traverse a segment of roadway, and average travel speed is used as a measure of effectiveness (MOE) suggested in the highway capacity manual (HCM) for evaluating the level of service (LOS) of roadway. Most of the urban freeways in our country are having congestion problem regardless of the rush hours as a high-speed highway with a speed limit of 80㎞/h or less. Especially traffic congestion within the ramp junction areas is becoming worse by the increased traffic and lack of links with the arterials around the urban freeway. So, the purpose in this study is to identify the traffic characteristics within the ramp junction areas of urban freeway, predict the average speed within the ramp junction areas based on the traffic characteristics identified, and finally prove the validity of the average speed predicted.
