빛을 반사하는 소재를 이용한 자동차 인테리어 직물 디자인 / = Textile design using reflective materialsin automatic interior

국문 초록 (Abstract)

프랑스의 군사기술자 퀴뇨(Cugnot,1725.9.25∼1804.10.2)에 의해 인류 최초의 자동차가 생겨나면서부터 현재에 이르기까지 자동차 산업은 눈부신 발전을 거듭해 왔고 계속해서 진행되고 있다.
자동차 산업의 발달은 그 수요가 늘어나면서 단순 기능적인 요소에서 점차 소비자 감성에 만족할 수 있는 디자인의 발전으로 이어져 왔다.
자동차 디자인의 발전은 ‘멋과 기능성을 살린 외관’ 과 ‘경제적이고 넓은 실내 공간’이라는 구체적인 요소로 발전 되어 왔으며, 이는 생산과 소비 면에서 경쟁성, 외관상의 아름다움, 승객이 이용하는 유효 공간의 실용성과 편안함을 추구하자는 것이다.
이런 이유로 자동차 메이커(Maker)들은 판매 시장의 경쟁력을 높이기 위해 소비자들의 감성을 만족시킬 수 있는 방법에 총력을 기울이고 있는 추세이다.
그 중 한 방법이 자동차 내부 인테리어(Interior) 디자인에 차별성을 갖는 것인데, 짧은 시간 내에 큰 변화를 줄 수 있으며 동시에 경쟁력도 갖출 수 있다는 장점이 있기 때문이다.
특히 시트(Seat)는 자동차 실내 인테리어 공간에서 많은 부분을 차지하며 이를 구성하는 소재와 패턴(Pattern)은 소비자의 사용 환경과 시대적 트랜드(Trend)를 잘 나타내는 구성 요소라 할 수 있다.
이에 본 연구는 자동차 인테리어 시트 직물의 특성, 종류와 특징 그리고 발달과정을 조사 분석한 후 신소재 개발의 필요성과 활용하는 방안을 모색해 보았다.
다음으로 시트 직물에 새롭게 적용될 반사 소재에 대해서 알아보았으며 이를 효과적으로 적용할 수 있는 디자인적 방법에 대하여 연구하여 실질적인 자동차 인테리어 직물 적용과 효과, 그리고 개선 방안에 대해서 알아보았다.
그리고 다가올 ‘2009’∼‘2010’년도 자동차 인테리어 시트 직물 트랜드 분석 을 통하여, 앞으로 유행하게 될 디자인과 소재, 기법들을 연구하여 빛을 반사하는 소재의 특징과 활용 방안에 대한 이해와 고찰로 신소재를 향후 자동차 시트 디자인에 적용할 수 있도록 실제적인 방향을 모색하는데 중점을 두었다.

Since its first debut by Cugnot(Sep.25, 1725 to Oct.2.1804), a French military technician , in human history, automobile industry has been developing remarkably.
Design has been advanced to detailed elements that are functional exterior with beauty and economically spacious interior with comfort, and its development pursues competiveness in supply and demand, aesthetical beauty, efficiency and passengers'comfort.
Due to these market trends, automobile makers are devoting to achieve high market share by satisfying consumers' sensitivity.
One of the methods to do so is to have distinctive interior design com pared to others since this allows dramatic changes in a short time and competitiveness at the same time.
In particular, automobile seat takes a big part in automobile interior and its materials and patterns are reflecting contemporary trends and consumers' needs.
Considering current market trends, my research is aimed at develomen t and application of new material in automotive interior textile after stu dying on its features, types and the history of development.
Next, I have studied 'reflecting materials' that will be applied for auto mobile seat materials and I am going to find out practical application of automobile interior textile, occurring problems, and ways to solve the pr oblem through effective design method that can be applied.
By analyzing upcoming year 2009~2010 market trends in automotive se at textile I have made sample with newest design for practical use.
Application of new material in seat textile, which takes significant role in automotive interior design, will be a trendsetter improving competitiv eness of automotive industry.
