특허권 취득 따른 연구개발비 지출이 기업 가치에 미치는 영향 = The Effect of R&D Expenses as Patent on the Firm Value

국문 초록 (Abstract)

연구개발 투자에 의한 기술혁신과 특허경영은 기업 경쟁력 강화와 지속가능한 성장력의 핵심요소로 인식됨에 따라 기업들의 연구개발 투자는 날로 증가되고 있다.
이러한 연구개발투자가 특허권 취득과 기술혁신으로 이어진다면 이는 기업 이익이 증가되고 증가된 이익은 다시 연구개발비로 재투자될 것이며 이로 인해 기업가치는 상승하게 될 것이다.
이에 본 연구는 특허권 취득과 기업가치 관련성을 분석하였으며 더 나아가 특허권 취득 집단의 연구개발비 지출이 기업가치에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다.
연구결과 첫째, 특허권 취득은 기업가치와 양(+)의 관련성을 보였으며, 특허권을 국내특허와 해외특허로 구분하였을 경우에도 결과는 동일하였다.
둘째, 특허권 취득 집단의 연구개발비 지출은 그렇지 않는 기업의 동 지출에 비해 기업 가치 상승에 더 많이 공헌하는 것으로 나타났으며 특히, 국내특허 보다는 해외특허를 취득한 집단의 동 지출이 기업가치 상승에 대한 공헌도가 높았다.
본 연구결과 특허권은 연구개발비의 지출의 성과를 판단하는 유용한 지표이며, 특허권 종류와 시장 및 산업 특성에 따라 연구개발비 지출과 기업가치와의 관련성이 차별적임을 알 수 있었다.

It was considered that the technical revolution and the patent management are core elements to strengthen their competitiveness and sustainable growth.
So these days, many firms are getting their resource invest in R&D(research and development) more and more.
The firm"s revenue is going to growth and their value will be improved, if they take the patent by inventing in R&D(research and development)
So, this study has analyzed how the patent and R&D expenses made effect on the firm"s value.
First of above all, in conclusion of study, taking the patent right get firm"s value improved. If the patent was divided into domestic and international patent, it was not different.
Secondly, R&D expenses of the firm, which taken the patent right, enhanced their value compare to the other firm, In case of the international patent especially it made the firm"s value more bigger.
Through this study, it was turned out that the Firm relevance showed different figures through patent. also the patent right is the useful index to evaluate R&D expenses.
