Organizational trust is a critical concept in order to make organizations healthy and wise. The study conceptualizes behavioral model of organizational trust including organizational collaboration as a consequence and sharing perceptions and feelings, open communication. participation in organizational process, organizational justice, and individualistic/ collectivistic culture as antecedents. Structural equation modeling is used to evaluate the conceptual model and test hypotheses with a questionnaire survey in Seoul Metropolitan Government in Korea.
The results show that organizational trust is an influential factor to improve organizational collaboration. Also, open communication and organizational justice are the most important factors among five antecedents of organizational trust. In addition, they can improve organizational collaboration through organizational trust. Moreover, open communication has direct effect on organizational collaboration.
