예비유아교사의 사회과 교수내용지식(PCK) 향상을 위한 유아사회교육 수업 개발 및 적용

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 유아 사회과 교수내용지식의 본질과 구성요소 탐색을 통해 예비유아교사의 사회과 교수내용지식 신장을 위한 유아사회교육 수업 모형을 개발하고 그 효과를 검증하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 2015년 5월 1일부터 2017년 4월 30일까지 총 2년간의 다년과제를 수행하였다. 1차년도의 경우 연구기반 구축 및 기초연구로서 문헌고찰과 더불어 1) 예비유아교사를 위한 사회과 교과 성격 이해 측정도구 타당화 2) 유아교사들의 유아사회교육에 대한 인식 및 요구도 분석으로 유아사회교육의 실제에 대한 근거이론적 접근 3) 유아사회교육 대학교재의 실제편 활동 분석의 3개 세부과제를 수행하였다. 2차년도에는 1차년도에 이어 1) 내용교수지식에 따른 유아사회교육 대학교재 내용분석 2) 예비유아교사의 사회과 교수내용지식 신장을 위한 유아사회교육 수업 모형 개발 및 적용과 추가 연구로서 3) 만 5세 유치원 일일교육계획안에 나타난 유아사회교육 내용 분석 4) 사회과 PCK에 대한 유아교사의 교육요구도 분석의 총 4개 세부과제를 진행하였다. 연구결과 KCI 등재지 논문 5편, 국내학술대회 발표 4회, 국제학술대회 발표 1회의 성과를 도출하였으며, 2차년도의 세부2개 과제에 대한 작업을 진행 중에 있다. 이상의 본 연구결과는 예비유아교사 및 유아교사의 유아사회교육 본질에 대한 인식을 측정할 수 있는 도구를 타당화함으로써 추후 연구를 위한 도구를 제공하였으며, 추후 예비유아교사를 위한 유아사회교육 강의 교재 개발에 유용한 기초 자료가 될 수 있다. 나아가 본 연구 결과 도출된 강의 모형은 추후 현직 유아교사의 사회과 PCK 향상을 위한 연수 프로그램 개발 및 수업 컨설팅 자료 개발에 도움을 줄 수 있을 것이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The aim of this study is two-fold: (1) to develop an education lecture model of social studies for enhancing pedagogical content knowledge in social studies, and (2) to evaluate the effectiveness of the curriculum for pre-service teacher education. To do this, the researcher conducted the study for 2 years starting May 1st 2015 to April 30th 2016. For the first year, 3 sub-studies were conduted : 1) a validation study of the Barth-Shermis social studies preference scale for pre-service early childhood teachers 2) a grounded theory approach on practice of social studies for early children 3) an analysis of activities in the social studies textbooks for pre-service early childhood teachers. For the last year, 4 sub-studies were conducted but 2 are still on process : 1) the content analysis on the PCK in 'social studies for young children' textbooks for pre-service early childhood teachers 2) development and application of education lecture model of social studies for enhancing pedagogical content knowledge in social studies of pre-service early childhood teachers(on process) 3) the educational needs assessment of early childhood teachers on social studies 4) content analysis on social studies for young children in the lesson plan of kindergartens(on process).
