충남권 대학생들의 글쓰기 인식과 ChatGPT 활용에 영향을 미치는 요인 분석: 인공지능 도구의 교육적 활용 가능성 탐색 = Analysis of Factors Affecting Writing Perception and ChatGPT Use Among Chungnam University Students: Exploring the Educational Applicability of AI Tools

국문 초록 (Abstract)

목적 본 연구는 대학생들의 글쓰기에 대한 인식과 ChatGPT의 활용성, 필요성, 실용성 및 만족도에 영향을 미치는 다양한 배경 요인들을 분석하고, 이를 통해 ChatGPT와 같은 인공지능 도구가 대학생들의 글쓰기 능력 향상에 기여할 수 있는 가능성을 평가하는데그 목적이 있다.
방법 이를 위하여 충청남도 소재 대학생 338명 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, SPSS/Win 23.0버전의 통계프로그램을 활용하여 빈도분석(Frequency), T-검증, 일원변량분석(One-way ANOVA), 탐색적 요인분석(Exploratory Factor analysis), 신뢰도 분석(Reliabilikty analysis), 상관관계분석(Correlation analysis), 다중회귀분석(Structural equation model)을 실시하였다.
결과 성별에 따라서 여학생들이 남학생에 비해 글쓰기 의미와 ChatGPT의 만족도에서 유의미하게 높게 나타났다. 인문계 학생들은자연계 학생들보다 ChatGPT의 활용성과 실용성, 만족도에서 높은 평가를 하는 것으로 나타났으며, 학년별 차이에서도 글쓰기 효능감에서는 4학년에서 높은 수준으로 집단간 차이를 보였다. 글쓰기 의미는 ChatGPT 기대감, ChatGPT 활용성과 ChatGPT 필요성, ChatGPT 실용성, ChatGPT 만족도 등의 모든 요인에서 긍정적(+) 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 글쓰기 효능감은ChatGPT 기대감에 긍정적(+) 유의미한 영향을 미치며, 글쓰기 과제 효능감은 ChatGPT 기대감, ChatGPT 실용성에 긍정(+)의영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.
결론 본 연구는 대학생들의 글쓰기 능력 향상에 인공지능 도구가 기여할 수 있는 가능성을 확인하고, 이를 기반으로 교육적 활용방안을 모색할 필요성을 강조하였다. 연구 결과, 학생들의 글쓰기에 대한 인식이 인공지능 도구인 ChatGPT의 효과적인 활용에 중요한 역할을 한다는 점이 드러났다. 이러한 결과는 교육 프로그램이 학생들에게 글쓰기의 중요성을 강조하고, 글쓰기 능력에 대한자신감을 키우는 방향으로 나아가야 하며, 이를 통해 ChatGPT와 같은 인공지능 도구의 잠재력을 최대한 발휘할 수 있도록 지원해야 함을 시사한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Objectives This study aims to analyze various background factors influencing the perceptions of writing and the utility, necessity, practicality, and satisfaction with ChatGPT of university students. In addition, It can evaluate the potential of AI tools like ChatGPT in enhancing the writing skills of university students.
Methods The survey was conducted among 338 university students in Chungcheongnam-do, and data were ana lyzed using the SPSS/Win 23.0 statistical software. The several analysis were required such as frequency analysis, t-tests, one-way ANOVA, exploratory factor analysis (EFA), reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis (structural equation modeling).
Results The study found that female students perceive the importance of writing and have higher satisfaction with ChatGPT compared to male students. Humanities students rated ChatGPT's utility, practicality, and satisfaction higher than their counterparts in the sciences. And, fourth-year students showed higher writing self-efficacy, compared with the case of other years. The perception of writing importance had a significantly positive impact on all factors, including ChatGPT expectations, utility, necessity, practicality, and satisfaction. Writing self-effi cacy affected ChatGPT expectations, and writing task efficacy positively influenced both ChatGPT expectations and practicality.
Conclusions This study confirmed the potential of AI tools contributes the improvement of university students' writing skills and highlights the need for educational strategies. The findings suggest that students' perceptions of writing play a crucial role in the effective use of AI tools like ChatGPT. Therefore, the educational programs should emphasize the importance of writing and aim to boost students' confidence in their writing abilities, there by supporting the full potential of AI tools like ChatGPT.
