청소년 지위비행과 가족 내 사회적 자본과의 인과관계 = The Causal Relationship between Adolescents' Status Offenses and Family Social Capital

This study examined the causal relationship between adolescents' status offenses and family social capital. This study used the Korea Youth Panel Survey data in 2003-2007 that were assessed by the Korean Adolescent Policy Research Institute. Data were Analyzed using Autoregressive Cross-Lagged Model with Amos 7.0. From the analysis result using the ARCL Model, family social capital and adolescents' status offenses were continued from middle school 2nd grade to high school 3rd grade in significant stability. In addition, the previous family social capital turned out to have significant negative effect on the later period adolescent's status offenses. That is, as family social capital increases, later status offenses of adolescents decrease. But this cases, adolescent' status offenses did not influenced family social capital at any period.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 청소년 지위비행과 가족 내 사회적 자본과의 인과관계를 검증하는데 목적을 두고 있다. 이를 위 하여 한국청소년정책연구원에서 2003년(중2)부터 2007년(고3)까지 실시한 청소년패널조사 자료를 자기회귀 교차지연 모델(autoregressive cross-lagged model: ARCL)을 적용하여 분석하였다. 분석결과의 내용은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 청소년 지위비행은 시간의 경과에 따라 지속적이며, 가족 내 사회적 자본도 시간의 경과 에 따라 안정적으로 유지되고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 가족 내 사회적 자본은 청소년의 지위비행에 유 의미한 영향을 미치고 있으나, 교차지연계수의 방향성은 부적(-)으로 나타났다. 이는 이전 시점의 가족 내 사 회적 자본이 높을수록 이후 시점의 청소년 지위비행의 정도가 낮아진다고 해석할 수 있다. 셋째, 1～5차 시 점 간의 청소년 지위비행 자기회귀 효과는 가족 내 사회적 자본에 유의미한 영향을 미치지 않았다. 이러한 연구결과를 통하여 높은 수준의 가족 내 사회적 자본은 청소년의 지위비행 가능성을 낮춘다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 가족 내 사회적 자본을 유지․강화하기 위한 구체적인 전략이 필요할 것이다
