아동의 세계 시민의식 형성에 미치는 국제교류 프로그램의 효과 연구

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of international exchange program which has been plan to develop the global citizenship of children. Data were collected from 15 children who have been participate the `UN Visiting Program`. The questionnaire which had been designed to measure the global citizenship in five domains(universal value of human, respect of diversity, interests in global issues, intention to solving international dispute, and orientation to globalism) were distributed twice to the sample before they had experience of `UN Visiting Program` program and after they came back to Korea. The collected data were analyzed with paired samples T test. The results shows that international exchange program does not have any effects on four domains of global citizenship except on the domain of interests in global issues. In the domain of interests in global issues, the international exchange program has significant effects on male and no-experience group of international exchange program beside of `UN Visiting Program`. Based on this result, researcher concludes that rather than the short-term international exchange programs, well organized long-term domestic programs could be more efficient to develop global citizenship for children.
