이상 시와 영화의 매체 교체 ― <오감도(烏瞰圖)>와 초현실주의 영화 [시인의 피]를 중심으로 = A Study on the Media Replacement of Yi-sang’s Poetry ― Focusing on the Surrealist Movie "The Poet’s Blood"

국문 초록 (Abstract)

지금껏 진행된 논의에서 이상 시가 실험적이고 난해하게 평가되는 것은 이상 시에 시도된 실험 방식을 제대로 이해하지 못한 것에서 기인한다고 본다. 당시 유행한 초현실주의 예술은 기존의 예술 형태에 대해 반기를 들었으며 그 결과 다양한 매체의 변이가 이루어졌다. 초현실주의 예술의 인간에 대한 이해 척도는 고전주의 예술과 달랐다. 초현실주의 예술가들은 내면 심리와 본성을 표현하고자 노력했다. 또 소재 선정이나 각 매체의 결합, 묘사나 표현 면에서 과감한 시도를 실행했다.
이상 시가 발표된 시기 우리나라 문예계의 조건은 열악했다 그래서 실험적인 예술 작품을 발표하거나 무대를 상연할 수 없었다. 뿐만 아니라 대중의 이해도도 낮았다. 그러한 상황에서 초현실주의 예술 매체의통합적인 컬합을 시도할 수 있는 방법으로 가장 용이한 것이 시였다. 이상의 시 <烏願圖>에는 ‘詩, 第, 號라는 제목이 붙어 있는데 그것은 이상이 새로운 방식의 시 형식을 시도했음을 할 수 있는 명확한 증거이다. <烏願圖>를 시 형식으로 공표하기가 힘든 상횡을 나타내며 기존양식의 해체를 시도하고 있음올 명시한다.
이 논문은 이상의 실험적인 시도 중 영화와의 매체 교제를 증명하고자 한다. 당대의 대표적인 초현실주의 영화 중 [시인의 피]에 등장했던 몇몇 이미지를 중심으로 교체 또는 이미지 확장으로 해석했다. 당시 매체 교제 현상은 여러 예술매체에서 활용되었던 표현으로서 문학, 연극, 영화 등 여러 매체에서 확인할수 있다. 이상 시 중 다른 시의 매체 교체 현상에 대해서는 다음 연구로 미루겠다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Yi Sang’poems are experimental and difficult. But not necessarily when we understand the source of the poem. The surrealist art of the time tried to express the inner psychology and nature of human beings, and developed into various forms as it attempted decided decomposition in terms of material selection, media combination, description, and expression. This trait is different from the way you understand classical art.
At the time when Yi Sang’poems were announced, Korea was not in a good environment to announce experimental surrealist art works or perform them on stage, and the public's understanding of art works was low, too. Under such circumstances, poetry was most appropriate as a way to try surrealistic art media through an integrated combination. His work, < Ogamdo > is entitled ‘Si, Je, Ho’ and it is clear evidence of his attempt itself. It indicates that the entire < Ogamdo > can be ambiguous to understand as a poetry and that it is already attempting to combine media and dismantle existing forms.
This paper tried to prove its combination with Ogamdo and surrealistic films through such attempts. Such a combination is the expansion or borrowing of some images that have been common in representative surrealistic films. Although the term ‘media replacement’ was inevitable, it was a common form of creation in the film and the artistic world of the time, and I will elaborate on such discussion later on.
