초등학생의 비판적 사고 성향과 비판적 사고 기능, 창의적 성향, 사고양식간의 관계 연구 = The Relationships of Critical Thinking Dispositions with Critical Thinking Abilities, Creative Dispositions and Thinking Styles in Elementary School Students

국문 초록 (Abstract)

현 학교교육에서 비판적 사고 기능과 비판적 사고 성향을 균형있게 교육시키는 것은 중요한 과제이다. 그러나 현재까지 비판적 사고에 관한 연구 및 학교교육에의 적용은 주로 비판적 사고기능 중심으로 이루어져 왔다. 따라서 균형 잡힌 비판적 사고 교육을 위해서는 비판적 사고 성향에 대한 교육이 함께 제공되어야 한다. 이러한 비판적 사고 성향을 향상시키는 교육 프로그램 개발을 위한 첫 단계는 비판적 사고 성향이 어떤 특성을 지니고 있는지를 알아, 그 구인에 대한 성격을 명확히 하는 것에 있다고 볼 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 초등학교 학생들의 비판적 사고 성향의 특성을 알아보는 것을 주요 목적으로 하여, 비판적 사고 성향이 비판적 사고 기능, 창의적 성향, 사고 양식과 어떠한 관련성이 있는지를 탐색하고자 하였다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위하여 본 연구에서는 초등학교 5, 6학년 총 217명의 학생을 대상으로 비판적 사고 기능, 비판적 사고 성향, 창의적 성향, 사고양식 검사를 실시하였으며, 수집된 자료들의 관계는 정준상관분석을 이용하여 처리되었다. 연구결과는 첫째, 비판적 사고 성향과 비판적 사고 기능간에는 유의한 관계가 나타나지 않았다. 둘째, 비판적 사고 성향과 창의적 성향간에는 유의한 관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 비판적 사고 성향과 사고양식간에는 유의한 관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The Purpose of this study was to find out the relationships of critical thinking dispositions with critical thinking abilities, creative dispositions, and thinking styles in elementary school students.
The major findings were as follows:
First, there were no significant relationships of critical thinking dispositions and critical thinking abilities.
Second, there were significant relationships of critical thinking dispositions and creative dispositions. Especially, attachment of creative dispositions had significant relationships with critical thinking dispositions. And sound doubt of critical thinking dispositions had significant relationship with creative dispositions.
Third, there were significant relationships of critical thinking dispositions and thinking styles. And sound doubt of critical thinking dispositions had significant relationships with thinking styles.
Accordingly, critical thinking dispositions had relationships with creative dispositions and thinking styles. Therefore we must consider about creative dispositions and thinking styles so that can develop a critical thinking dispositions improvement program for elementary students. So, the results of this study suggested possibilities in integration education of critical thinking dispositions, creative thinking dispositions, and thinking styles.
