소년보호시설의 인권상황 실태 및 개선방안 = A Study on the Actual State and the Improvement Plans of Human Rights at Juvenile Protection Facilities

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study has considered prevention strategies on human rights abuse through survey of inmate juveniles on the actual state of human rights at juvenile protection facilities. The results of the study are the following.
The first, it should be made the environment for individual treatment through juvenile protection facilities of small scale. It is also necessary to carry out the violence prevention education at juvenile protection facilities.
The second, it should be executed the open treatment of juvenile reformatory for minimization of detention. It is also necessary to bring about the improvement of treatment at juvenile protection facilities according to global standard.
The third, it should be intensified the right of choice on a course of study as well as advancement of curriculum for the protection juveniles. It is also necessary to invigorate the provisional discharge through the score of reward and punishment. The fourth, It is necessary the education to instruct respect of human rights to another inmate as well as their own protection of human rights at juvenile protection facilities.
Furthermore, It is necessary the follow-up studies. One is the study on standardization of research tools for an accurate survey on the actual state of human rights at juvenile protection facilities. The other is the study on the actual state and the improvement plans of juvenile protection official's human rights.
