퍼스의 기호학적 커뮤니케이션에 대한 연구: -이론적 현황, 문제점과 대안적 모델- = A study on the semiotic communication of Peirce: Theoretical background, problems, and the exploration of an alternative model

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This paper aims to examine the communication and theoretical background of Peirce`s semiotics, settle problems, and explore the possibility of building a semiotic communication model. The secondary aim of this paper is to build an alternative semiotic communication model which can explain communication phenomena in the real world. For this purpose, advanced internal and external research relevant to the study is analyzed, arranging and organizing issues, to be illuminated the following semiotic communication process. Semiotic messages produced by the intended interpretant of the speaker are to be understandable by the effective interpretant of the receiver. This process is made up of a common interpretant, metaphor, and inference. Metaphor and inference based on the common interpretant work to generate cognitive commens between the speaker and the receiver. These processes lead to communication. Peirce`s semiotic communication is particularly distinctive in that it has the potential to explain the mechanisms of the self, individual, and interpersonal communication.
