동반 경험 망 모형에 의한 부사 ‘바로’의 체계적 다의성 연구 = A Study on the Systematic Polysemy of Adverb paro based on Accompanied Experience Network Model: A New Approach for Contrastive Linguistics

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study is concerned with applying Accompanied Experience Network Model, a sort of unified approach to the systematic polysemy, to the analysis of adverb paro. As an instance of artificial neural network model, the model attempts not only to be consistent with broad scientific understanding of the nervous system, but also to explain the system of a linguistic unit in its full extent of usage. It is suggested that a new node of meaning in this model co-occurs with a consolidation of an associative memory. In the case of paro, it is observed that distinct meanings occur through the experiences accompanying the bodily experience of maintaining a straight posture, from which the basic meaning emerges. In addition, this paper reveals how the well known behaviors of neurons involve the process of meaning extension and provide us with a better way to draw a plausible picture of the networks residing in our invisible mind. On the other hand, The present model can be applied in the field of contrastive linguistics and language teaching. We can see what really goes on by contrasting paro with right(English), and прямо(Russian). The bodily experiences from which the basic and extended meanings of paro and right emerge are differentiated from those of прямо, therefore, it is expected that positive transfers can be made more easily between paro and right, than between paro and прямо, when the corresponding relationships between AENM structures are informed enough.
