The study aims to explore the connection between supervisor coaching behaviors, affective organizational commitment, and the mediating role of protean career attitude among office workers in large company L. Through a survey of 322 participants, data was collected and analyzed. First, the validity and reliability of the survey tool were confirmed through factor analysis and Cronbach's α analysis. Descriptive statistics and correlation analysis were then used to examine the relationships between supervisor coaching behaviors, affective organizational commitment, and protean career attitude. Finally, utilizing the bootstrapping method proposed by Hayes(2013), the mediating effect of protean career attitude was analyzed.
Results indicated a significant positive relationship between supervisor coaching behaviors and affective organizational commitment. Additionally, supervisor coaching behaviors were found to positively influence protean career attitude. Moreover, protean career attitude was found to mediate the relationship between supervisor coaching behaviors and affective organizational commitment.
