중력모형을 이용한 부산의 교역패턴분석에 관한 연구 = A Study on Analysis of Trade Pattern of Busan by Gravity Model

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 중력모형을 이용하여 부산의 무역패턴을 분석하고 이를 통하여 부산의 무역에 영향을 미치는 요인(특히 지리적 요인)을 중심으로 정책적 시사점을 도출하고자 하는데 목적이 있다. 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 먼저 부산의 무역패턴은 거의 중력모형이론과 일치하였다. 즉 부산의 무역은 경제규모의 크기와 비례하며 지리적 거리와는 반비례하였다. 하지만 지리적 거리와는 달리 지역경제통합체의 부산무역에 대한 효과는 긍정적이었다. 이는 지역경제통합체는 물리적 거리가 존재함에도 불구하고 무역창출의 효과가 있음을 나타낸다.
이러한 결과들이 시사하는 바는 부산의 경우 우선적으로 시장규모가 크고 지리적으로 근접한 국가와의 무역을 확대해나가는 한편, 현재 추진하고 있는 동북아경제협력체 등의 지역경제통합체에 대한 적극적 참여와 기존 지역경제통합체에의 우회적인 침투가 중요한 것으로 보인다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to analyze trade pattern of Busan and the factor influencing on Busan trade, and to induce policy suggestion
The result of analysis is as follows: The trade pattern of Busan is almost consistent with the theory of gravity model. In other words, it is revealed that the increase of GDP(the size of trade countries) gives rise to the increase of the size of trade. And the distance between the trade countries have a negative effect on size of trade
This result is similar to other study results. The effect of local economic integration on trade of Busan is a positive. Local economic integration has trade creation effect and make trade increased. Therefore, under the circumstance that Busan's trade ratio to total production declines, it is important that Busan positively joins in local economic integration.
