한국 장르소설의 마스터플롯 연구 = 모험서사의 변이로 본 ‘차원이동’ 연구

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This article examines the characteristics of the dimensional movement motif in Korean genre novels. In consideration of the time when the motif of dimension movement was introduced, the scope of genre novel was selected instead of web novel. And the dimension movement motif is repeated, and it is named as master plot on the assumption that there is not only archytype but also deep desire of readers.
Moving to a new dimension means moving a person from one world to another. In Korean Genre Novel, dimensional movement is different from the heroes of classical narratives. In Korean Genre novel, heros choose to remain in the moving(new) world. This article looked at the dimensional movement as a safe adventure and fulfillment of desire for recognition of readers.
And this article reviewed the process of variations of dimensional movement motif, like rebirth(born again), soul moving(entering someone else body), recurrence(return to the past), connection(to a new world). That means surplus information on adventure, and increased control over the moving world.
This study has the significance of showing the characteristics and the process of change of dimensional movement as an adventure narrative, but it has limitations such as not being able to deal with sufficient text, failure to deal with sub - genre, lack of statistical data. In order to make up for this, we have introduced the political motifs of genealogy as a genealogy, and examined the characteristics of other dimensional movements in independent gender differences.
