I studied the human relations based on the philosophy of Jung Je-Doo. Jung was a key person in the Kang-Wha Hak as well as the originator of the Korean Yang-Ming doctrines. There are basically 5 relations in Asian philosophy, which is called “moral rules to govern the Five Human Relations.” Among these relations, I first focused on the relationship between parents and children in the present study. The key factor to define this relationship is filial piety and love(慈孝). In the doctrines of Wang Yang-ming, filial piety and love is a good practical example in terms of the view of the agreement of knowledge and practice(知行合一) since filial piety and love is meaningless without a practice. Second, I also looked at the background ethics of the human relations in Jung`s philosophy. Jung`s philosophical views clearly showed that he cared for other people. Jung grew in a poor family, and he thought the consideration of others was the principle attitude in human relations. This principle attitude was expressed as sincerity and truthfulness. The consideration of others is a process of self-examination and self-conquest. It is also a practical activity to achieve the goal as a philosopher. The consideration of others is also partly based on truthfulness and practice in of Practical Science. Jung`s philosophy was toward the sincere Practical Science including true patriotism, filial piety, Chee-Ji(致知), Kyok-Mool(格物). Finally, I looked at the Jung`s educational philosophy. If we looked at his educational philosophy based on the current ones, we would find more negative aspects than positive aspects.
