This study examined the effects of the literature based Anti-Bias Curriculum on preschool children's recognition toward ability, age, appearance, family-construction, and sex. The subjects were 100 4-5 year-old kindergarten children. They were assigned to an experimental or control group, with 50 children in each group. Children were interviewed for pre- and post-test to investigate their biased-recognition toward ability, age, appearance, family- construction, and sex. The literature based Anti-Bias Curriculum was developed and applied to the experimental group for 10 weeks. Differences were found between experimental and control group in recognition toward ability, age, appearance, family-construction, except sex.
