As evident from the results of shift-share analysis, the effect of regional-share effect that expresses the potential of job creation in ChungBuk region is highest among 5 benchmarking regions, ChungBuk region seems to have relatively high potential competence for employment in manufacturing.
In economic model, there occurs positive correlation between technical progress and employment both in aggregate production and search and matching model.
Structural VAR estimation and variance decomposition results imply 1) the explanatory power of GRDP on ChungBuk employment is higher than that of GDP, 2) for regional job creation, it is necessary for regional economy to grow firstly.
