The purpose of this study is to suggest a new frame regarding the formation elements of humorous discourse on the aspects of contents organization. The formation mechanism, constraints and equipments deriving a laugh were set up as three elements of forming the humor. The formation mechanism is discordance between the language the hearer expects and the language the speaker produces. The constraints are the devices that set limits to the scope of the formation mechanism, which indicates predictability. Finally, the equipments deriving a laugh is the nonverbal device that promotes a laugh. These three elements were again subdivided into three levels, including the contextual level, meta-textual level and situational level. The TV humorous advertisements suggested for analysis were the appropriate device that could display the author`s viewpoint, for they contained various levels of formation mechanism. Consequently, humorous discourse needs to be unexpected within the predictability of the hearer (constraints). Generally speaking, humor is increased in proportion to its unexpectedness within the scope (formation mechanism).
