This study was an initial research suggesting relative weighting of motor development test tool by using AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process). The purpose of this study was to investigate relative weighting on motor skill elements and performance criteria of the Test of Gross Motor Development-Ⅱ for 5 to 6 years old boy. To achieve the purpose of this study, we explained about the pairwise comparison and asked to complete the questionnaire to expert who are the professional group on the Test of Gross Motor Development-Ⅱ. We analyzed the consistency which represents the reliability, and the relative weighting through Expert Choice 2000 and Microsoft Office Excel 2007 for data analysis. The conclusions of this study were as follow; Firstly, the relative weighting of locomotor skill`s middle classification group were in order such as run (0.238), hop (0.208), slide (0.165), gallop (0.152), leap (0.133), horizontal jump (0.103). Secondly, the relative weighting of object control skill`s middle classification group were such as catch (0.259), overhand throw (0.234), kick (0.183), stationary dribble (0.139), underhand roll (0.093), striking a stationary ball (0.092) in order of precedence. Lastly, the relative weighting of the Test of Gross Motor Development-Ⅱ`s large classification group were that locomotor (0.527) skill is more important than object control (0.473) skill. Also, in the relative weighting of the Test of Gross Motor Development-Ⅱ`s overall items `Arms extend while reaching for the ball as it arrives` of catch item, `Brief period where both feet are off the ground` of run item were valued the highest, and `Dominant hand grips bat above non-dominant hand`, `Non-preferred side of body faces the imaginary tosser with feet parallel` of striking a stationary ball were valued the lowest. In conclusion, these results will be utilized as a basic information, which produces specific results representing a relative weighting when a tester uses Test of Gross Motor Development-Ⅱ for 5-6 years old boy.
