The objective of this study is to investigate the low temperature performance characteristics of the thermosyphon with/without wick. Thermosyphons using water as working fluid are tested with the variation of the wick, the volume concentration of the working fluid, the outdoor temperature, and the heat load for the evaporator section at low temperature. As a result, the heat transfer of thermosyphon at the volume concentration of 40% and the outdoor temperature of 0 ℃ was experimentally attained up to 100 W.
