다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)
The characteristics of Kwang ju City and renewal problems of C.B.D are analyzed and evaluated in this study. From these things, the reasonable driving direction of Renewal Kwang ju C.B.D is groped. So we obtained the following results by applying the method of district plan system and of Mixed Use Development to the renewal of C.B.D.
1. It is essential to set the firm basis of planning and designing criteria.
2. Citizen participation in the process of planning and designing criteria.
3. It is neccessary to operate the information center of urban renewal.
4. It is neccessary to establish a unified managing system of district unit for renewal.
5. A developmental method made in cooperation with a research institute the Korea Land Developing Corporation, a Building corporation is needed.
