In this thesis, the communication algorithm is proposed to provide the remote service of the infrared transmission imaging system at Mokpo national university (MIRT system) to the clients through telecommunication networks.
The developed algorithm uses TCP/IP as a communication protocol and the user
interface is implemented by using the ⅩView library in Ⅹ- Windows system. The data transmission between the server and client systems is processed by an inter process communication(IPC) technique.
The computer simulation is carried out to analyze the performance of the proposed algorithm by connecting the two SUN SPARC workstations through the Ethernet LAN for the server and client systems. The results show that the proposed algorithm can provide the remote service of the MIRT system at the client's request by transmitting the image data between the server and client systems at real time.
