Based on the analysis of five case studies, a psychotherapy model for developmentally delayed children was proposed and a guideline in adopting the model was Provided to activate the Psychotherapy for developmentally delayed children. For preschool children parent education was Provided and they were used as therapy mediators. Mothers' interaction with their child was videotaped and analyzed with respect to their attitude toward their child. In the case study of 5-year-old boy with autistic tendency the parent education was Provided through intenet, and in the case of 6-year-old girl with mental retardation the education was provided in the face to face meeting. The education was basically anattempt to change Parent's attitude toward their children. The remaining three case studies with schoolage children used a group psychofherapy. Each group composed of three children and an adult The children were mentally retarded adolescents from a special school and borderline intelligent school girls attending social welfare program, and a mentally retarded boy attending special education and psychotherapy Program. In the group therapy peer group inteiaction was analyzed, and the results wae used in comoosing the guideline.
