고등학교 과학 생명 단원의 PBL 수업 설계 및 적용 = Design and Application of PBL Programs of Life Unit in High School Science

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

In this study, the problem-based learning (PBL) teaching program for the Life chapter in the high school textbook `Science` in the 7th curriculum was developed. While the program was only applied to the experimental group. the control group was taught by the traditional instruction focused on teachers lecture. To analyze the effectiveness of the PBL teaching program, the pre- and post-test for students` achievement in science, attitude toward science, self-directed learning were applied to both control and experimental groups. As a result, students` achievement in science, attitude toward science, self-directed learning were not significantly different (p>0.05) between the control and the experiment group in terms of the pre-test scores. However. the post-test scores of the experiment group showed higher than the control group (p<0.05). Therefore, the PBL teaching program made a positive effect on student`s achievement in science, attitude toward science, self-directed learning.
