      Demand for electric energy is continuously increasing due to its high utilization. Recently, various problems are also occurring, and one of them is a disaster caused by a electrical fire. The government is making efforts for electrical safety by the law about Electrical Safety Management. the law about Electrical Safety Management stipulates the safety inspection of old apartment and mixed use residential building. Many people say that additional review is needed regarding the subject and scope of safety inspection.
      In this paper, the subject and scope of safety inspection were reviewed. As a result of the review, Recently, the rate of electrical fires in old electrical facilities, apartment, mixed use residential building is rapidly increasing, so it is appropriate to introduce safety inspections.
      In addition, a "Safety Zone Setting Method" that can check the exact current status of electrical fires in apartment and mixed use residential building was proposed. The result of analyzing the current status through the proposed method, it was analyzed that it was appropriate to conduct a safety inspection of not only the old electrical facilities, apartment, mixed use residential building but also the overall that.
