포항공과대학교 SDI서비스 제공 사례

국문 초록 (Abstract)

포항공과대학교 학술정보원은 목차데이터베이스를 도입함과 동시에 SDI 서비스 시스템을 개발, 이용자들의 개별 요구에 맞는 최신 정보 시스템을 구축하였다. 본 SDI시스템은 이용자 관련 정보들을 직접 관리하고, 이용과 관련한 다양한 통계를 산출하여 활용할 수 있는 기능이 포함되어 있어 보다 적극적인 이용자 서비스를 제공할 수 있을 뿐 아니라 이용 실태에 대한 정밀한 분석을 토대로 보다 발전된 서비스 제공을 위한 데이터 제시가 가능해졌다고 볼 수 있다. 본 고에서는 시스템의 개발 과정, 이용자 프로파일 등록 절차 등의 이용 전반에 따른 절차 및 관리자 모듈에서의 각 특징들을 설명하고 향후 보완 계획에 대해서도 서술하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The Office of Academic Information of POSTECH(Pohang University of Science & Technology) has purchased a commerical cotents database and developed our own SDI system, as to build the current awareness service systems. Since The POSTECH SID System enalbes that the librarian controls users' profiles directly and obtain the variable usage statistics from the system, we can not only provide more possitive services to our patrons but also analize the actual state of use basis on the detailed data. In this report, it is explained the process of the system development and how to create pateron's porfile, what is features of each function of the management system and the future plan to improve the system as well.
