시민정치와 노동정치의 위기 그리고 ‘감정의 정치’ 18대 대선을 중심으로 = Crises of the Civic and Labor Politics in The Progressives and Feeling's Politics in The Conservatives

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This article analyzed the result of 18th Presidential Election focused with the cause of the liberal and progressive block’s defeat in the South Korea politics. They failed the civic politics and labor politics in the campaign because of no ideas of mind’s regime of voter, no contents, nor coordinations in despite of the semi success of coalition politics with other independent civil candidate onto the pan-national zeal of power shift by the democratic election. Lawyer Moon Jae-in, Democratic Unified Party’s candidate did not play an irascibility or charismatic leadership in the party politics during the campaign. Ruling Party, New Frontier Party’s candidate Park Geun-hye’s victory in the presidential election is a big boost not only for women in South Korea but also women in many other male-dominated countries in East Asia, where Confucian values are still widely respected.
Ruling party’s politics of feelings has been mobilized the older voter’s mind that is the momentum turned to victory by the candidate’s concentration and extendability. I traced this authenticity politics from the beginning to the end where the ‘mainstream’ or the established politics has often relied on a voter of beholder of mind’s regime and authenticity that is why she won or he failed.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 글은 18대 대통령선거에서 진보개혁진영의 선거실패 요인을 분석한 것이다. 이번 선거의 특징은 첫째, 정치신인들이 정권교체와 새정치라는 국민열망을 집약, 대변하게 되었으나 진보진영은 절반의 연합정치 성사에도 불구하고 유권자의 심성 또는 ‘마음의 체제’에 대한 이해 부족과 감정 정치의 조정 미숙으로 선거 판도를 유리하게 이끌지 못하였다. 둘째, 진보진영의 시민정치와 노동정치는 국민감정, 호소력과 콘텐츠의 측면에서 상대적으로 밀렸다. 시민정치는 좋은 정치신인의 천거, 국민연대의 형성 계기를 제공하였으나, 현실정치 경험부족으로 인해 중도층의 안정감 획득과 지지표심 형성에 실패하였다. 정치신인과의 연합정치는 충분한 효과를 발휘하지 못하였다. 노동정치는 진보정당의 분열, 다자 후보, 계급적 이해관계의 대변 부족으로 진보개혁진영후보로 지지표를 결집하는데 크게 기여하지 못하였다. 셋째, 새누리당의 감정 정치는 후보의 집중성과 확장성을 통해 선거막판 지역 및 세대투표에서 지지세 결집으로 이어졌다. 결과적으로 이 대통령 선거 결과는 경합하는 양대 정당과 후보진영이 유권자 ‘마음의 체제’에 대한 이해와 ‘진정성의 정치’라는 접근법에서 차이를 보인 데서 비롯된다.
